House E&P

This project originates from a simple yet ambitious idea: to create a single-story house where the heart of daily life would be a large living space, open and directly connected to the garden. The goal was to achieve a fluid environment where indoors and outdoors meet and complement each other.

To achieve this, a main volume was conceived for the living area. This volume, with a clear formal language, allows for large openings that visually and physically connect with the garden. In this way, the living and dining areas become a natural extension of the outdoor space, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside and creating a sense of continuity.

At the same time, to ensure optimal lighting throughout the day, a large high-level window was incorporated on the opposite façade. This feature allows morning sunlight to fill the space with warmth and dynamism. Architecture thus becomes a tool to accompany daily rhythms and enhance user comfort.

Materiality plays a key role in the design. Two stone walls have been incorporated, providing solidity, texture, and a connection to construction tradition. At the same time, wooden beams create warmth and a welcoming atmosphere, balancing the house’s modern and minimalist essence. This combination of noble materials with a clean architectural language creates a harmonious contrast, making the house both contemporary and timeless.

Regarding functionality, the single-story layout meets the need for an accessible and practical home, where spaces are organized clearly and coherently. The living area is the centerpiece, while the more private zones remain protected and well-defined, without losing their connection to the exterior.

This balance between aesthetics and functionality defines the project. It is not just about designing a beautiful house, but creating a space where living is comfortable, pleasant, and meaningful. Every decision, from the placement of a window to the choice of materials, has been made with the aim of improving the quality of life of its residents and ensuring that every corner has purpose.

Ultimately, this house is an expression of architecture designed for people: modern and minimalist in its language, warm and comfortable in its essence, open to the garden and light. A space that invites you to live in it, enjoy it, and let it grow with your everyday experiences.
