This new construction project stems from a simple but powerful idea: to create a home where the pool is the center of everyday life. From the very beginning, the family was clear that they wanted a direct connection to this space, and for this reason the living area and the master bedroom were fully opened to the outside, with large openings that make the pool a constant scene of everyday life.

The configuration of the plot, flat and open, posed a major challenge: the presence of the tramuntana wind. The project had to protect the day area without losing the relationship with the outside. The answer was clear: an L-shaped house, which acts as a natural barrier and at the same time organically differentiates the two main areas: the day area and the night area.
The volumes have been arranged hierarchically to reinforce this organisation. The day area, conceived as the central space of the house, has been resolved in a taller, more open volume, while the night area is articulated in a lower, more compact block. The roof of the main volume rests on the secondary volume, creating a balanced architectural image and a clear relationship between the different spaces.
A key feature is the large porch projecting over the main opening of the living room and kitchen. As well as protecting against direct solar radiation, this element becomes a transitional space between indoors and outdoors, a place to enjoy the light and the views without sacrificing comfort.
In terms of architectural language, the house embraces clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic, where functionality and the relationship with the landscape take centre stage.
The materials have been carefully chosen to withstand the elements while also providing warmth and comfort indoors.
The result is a home that combines protection and openness, privacy and outdoor living. A house in which every decision—from the L-shaped form to the porch and the hierarchy of volumes—responds to a way of living and a specific environment. An architecture designed to enjoy the light, the pool and family life, in harmony with the site.
